Dear Coaches, Club Directors, Parents, and Athletes:

Welcome to Metro State.  Here is some information regarding the RMR Tournaments being hosted at Metro State for the 2007 Season.

Tables, crock pots, coolers, and large food setups are no longer allowed in the building.

Entrance and Setup:
The main entrance for the Auraria Events Center is located on the west side of the building.  Doors will be opened at 7:00 a.m.  Teams may setup their areas inside the foyer area.  Please avoid setting up in front of the concessions stands as staff will ask you to move these items.  Tables will not be allowed in the actual gym area. If weather permits, there is also an outside picnic area just outside the Auraria Events Center.

Concessions:
The concessions stand will be open for the tournament.  There will be a large variety of food and drinks to choose from for both breakfast and lunch.

Parking:
The best place to park is in the Tivoli parking lot located off of Auraria Parkway and 9th Avenue. The best alternative place to park is in Lot R which is west of the Tivoli building (past the baseball fields) which can be accessed from Auraria Parkway and Speer. Parking is free in all of the campus parking lots on Sunday's. Click here for directions and further parking information.

Coaches Meeting:
There will be a coaches meeting inside the gym by the Tournament Director's table at 7:45 a.m.  Play begins at 8:00 a.m.

Seating & Viewing:
In the gym, spectators are welcome to sit/stand around the courts.  However, no seating will be provided so spectators must bring their own seating.  Spectators are strongly encouraged to watch the matches from the Green room which overlooks the entire gym on the north side.  Bench seating is available as well as power outlets for camera setup.

Checking Out:
Each team must have a coach or representative check-out with the tournament director before they leave the site for the day.  Those teams that don't comply will be reported to the RMR.

Building Rules:
1. Teams can setup their areas in the main foyer and/or in the Green Room (located above the gym).  Piles in the main hallway are not allowed.
2. No peppering are practicing in the main hallway, foyer, or up in the Green room.
3. Tables, crock pots, coolers, or large food setups are no longer allowed inside the building.
4. Teams are responsible for cleaning their own areas and coaches should check-out before the team leaves.
